    I purchased a Mercedes X Class from the Mercedes dealership in Birmingham. I made a 2 hour journey to the dealership to collect the vehicle at an agreed time and date. I had to wait for over 2 hours in the dealership to collect the car as the car I bought didnā€™t have a valid MOT. The vehicle passed the MOT test with no advisories despite having a broken indicator light and torn wiper blade! I was not offered to drive the car, I was given the keys after doing the paperwork and I was on my way as I had a 2 hour journey to make. Shortly after I noticed the control unit for the command system is cracked and the touch pad does not work! So I got in touch with the sales assistant (Marc) and made him aware of the issue! He advised me that he would deal with the issue on Monday, on Monday I got in touch with the dealership to make them aware that the Engine Management Light had come on and in addition to the cracked command unit there were more issues with the car, there are missing buttons, and a cracked indicator as well as a dent on the bonnet and torn wiper blade. I was ignored by the salesman and after several attempts I managed to get hold of the commercial sales manager (Paul) and he assured me he would reimburse me for the bill. I went to my local dealer and provided an estimate just for the parts. It has been 2 weeks since and I have not heard anything back despite several attempts to get in touch with them. I have called and emailed and even left my details for the dealer principal to contact me. I got in touch with the complaints team, they apologised initially and assured me that they would look into to it, I subsequently got another email from them saying that the command unit looked dirty and they wouldnā€™t ever release a car in that state therefore I had caused the damage myself and they will not cover the cost and advised me I can contact the ombudsman! It genuinely made me laugh out load as the car did not have an MOT, and they passed it with a broken indicator and a torn wiper blade and the Engine Management Light popped on the following day! I have to admit the experience has been rather poor and disappointing. I wouldnā€™t buy a pair of shoes from them! Avoid at any costā€¦

    Disappointed by the service provided by MB Birmingham and MB Customer Services UK. They refused to replace a part that was installed by them and had gone faulty within the warranty period of 2 years. Result: I had to pay out of pocket for costly repairs, because MB do not take ownership for their own substandard parts!

    I WOULD GIVE NO ā­ IF I COULD!!!!! For a main dealer I am very disappointed in the service. My dad's car had a issue where the engine management light come on and as the vehicle is under extended warranty we took it here as it's a main dealer and they said because the light has gone off they can't diagnose it (charging us Ā£70) and they are unsure of the problem. The dealer also said to bring it straight to them when the light comes on next The engine management light come back on yesterday and we took the car in with the engine management light on and they came back to us and said because when they diagnosed it the light was off they don't know what the issue is, again charging us Ā£70. Personally I have diagnosed it months before hand and know what the problem is but the vehicle is under mercedes extended warranty and we wanted to use the warranty that we pay for it every month but we are being fobbed off with a Ā£70 bill and they are unable to diagnose it!!! Complete scam!!!! How can a main dealer expect a customer to Ā£70 to diagnose something that you can't even diagnose!!!

    Really nice store. Visited the dealership to pick up some service parts. The showroom is quite big and they have an extensive range of cars in the showroom. It has 2 floors. G wagon, new 23 s class, Gts all on display. There is also a cafeteria in-store which isn't too expensive and also some merchandise. Good range of cars on show. Really enjoyed having a look around.

    Very positive experience dealing with Sonia especially the care and professionalism I experienced following the issue with car. This was down to Sonia being able to confirm the vehicle was ready the next day! Her efforts need to be recognised as she specialises in vans but also manages breakdowns. I cannot fault the before and after service as the advisor went out of her way to ensure customer satisfaction. Happy to bring my car back here anytime for maintenance.
