Unfortunately like everybody else I’m writing this review after the fact only wish I read them before I leased a van from Mercedes Benz Finance. I’m not one to leave reviews but Mercedes Finance deserves one as they are the WORST. Came to collect van I had on 1 year contract I specifically asked if everything was ok and was told “yes it’s like new” and their transport company would collect later that day. 3-4 week later I received an invoice for over £1200 for damaged, Previous repair, Service light on & spare wheel missing. The van was collected in Glasgow by THEIR TRANSPORT COMPANY and eventually delivered to BCA Doncaster when questioned about service light which still had 10 days until service when collected they did remove charge. When Question about “MISSING SPARE” they still tried to charge me something which I refused and eventually remove this from invoice. As for the previous repair I asked for more details which they sent picture which I deputed as I didn’t have vehicle repaired where they were pointing out they then changed their mind and said it was on another part of the van proving they are just making thing up. (As the van still wasn’t repaired anywhere near the second area) And still they want £790. I have disputed amount and have offer a fair settlement of £460 as I accept that there was scuff on rear bumper (£18 was their fee) and dent on side. I’m not paying them anymore than my offer which I think is very fair as I can’t be held responsible from when I handed over the key to THEIR TRANSPORT CONPANY and the vehicle was transported over 230 miles. especially when their TRANSPORT COMPANY managed to “lose the spare wheel” (not just on my van but my friend also had van at same time and his spare went “missing”) this proves that their TRANSPORT COMPANY didn’t take care of vehicle and anything could of happened when is THEIR custody FOR A COMPANY LIKE MERCEDES BENZ TO HAVE A 1.3 * review tell you all you need to know about using their finance DON’T!!!!!!! P.S it was an electric van and had to be recovered on back of trucks it wasn't driven to Doncaster I know it left my premises and was dropped and in storage yard and god knows how many trucks to get to Doncaster.

Took balloon payment twice 10 days plus apart will only receive refund 10/14 days from today totally unacceptable yet they trot out the same excuses as a Mickey Mouse company Systems Systems plus no person in authority available to talk to MB TAKE OWNERSHIP OF MISTAKE and deal with and make remittance within 48 hrs

Absolutely disgusted. Car paid off totally one month ago and they have just taken a payment. Now I will have to take time out of my day to tell them how to correctly deal with their administration whilst asking for me money back. This is literally theft!

Absolutely awful customer service, I purchased a brand new Mercedes in October and it has been with the garage twice for a total of six weeks. Raised a complaint and after 7 weeks, multiple phone calls, they have still not assigned anyone to investigate. No managers to speak to, we have 10 Mercedes in the family and we will not buy another. I’ve now referred my complaint to the financial ombudsman. Just appalling service, avoid at all cost!

Had a finance on my E class paid and completed finance in july 2020. Few weeks back i went to buy a car wanted to trade my e class when the guy at the dealership ran a check he told me their is a HPI Marker on my car. To my surprise i didn't even know for three years. Called the MBFC and gave them the details when they ran my details through the system lady confirmed my finance was fully paid and settled. So i asked why you had put HPI marker on my car. They apologized i said not good enough i want it in a email to confirm you made this blunder. Which i do have as a proof. Will get cars but won't apply for MBF in my life again. Stay away and go to FLOW CAR FINANCE COMPANY BETTER DEALS given and their customer service is top noch.

Mercedes Finance need to get their house in order. When you ring explaining your end of agreement intentions, do not then issue letters demanding to know your intentions. Additionally when your car's traded in to a Mercedes dealer, do not then issue letters arriving a week later demanding payment to settlement of the agreement when it has been paid. Do not rely upon issuing automated letters, check first. Totally unsatisfactory.

Appalling service, 5 phone calls totalling over 3 hours including waiting to be told to sort the problem with the dealership or MBF will send debt collectors on June 9th. The problem being MBF are trying to charge me over £500 too much for the return of my lease car. It took them 4 weeks from me returning the vehicle to assess it and send me a bill for alleged damage and a lost key. The lost key was paid for on the day of return but this has never been deducted, there were 3 scuffed alloys which I acknowledged but they are trying to charge for 4 and they have sent 2 different documents showing widely different pricing for this damage. I had the car valeted before return and there were no scratches but in the month they had it before they assessed and sent a report apparently 2 appeared which they are trying to charge for..where was the car for this month? I have asked repeatedly for an up to date bill with the key etc deducted but nothing has come. Final straw 3weeks ago when they produced a document that I apparently signed upon return of the vehicle when it was checked in my presence , unfortunately it shows a time 5 hours after I left, the date is about 3 weeks too early and it’s not my signature. When confronted with this 3 weeks ago they would be in touch within 5 days….I heard nothing until I phoned them again yesterday to basically be told sort it with the dealership by June 9th or we send debt collectors. Absolutely pathetic. Worse still they are still happy to take my money for my present lease but this will be my last MB. They treat people disgustingly. Just to make people aware, it’s now February 2023 and although MB finance finally backed down on some of the (alleged )damage charges , as of now still waiting to hear from the dealership who were going to investigate the false signature and dates on the paperwork ! I stupidly leased again thinking they must improve but clearly they haven’t so I’m expecting more of the same in a year or so. I urge everyone to avoid MBFS and until we do nothing will change. BMW for me in future, never had any trouble with them previously.

this company have zero customer care once you have sign on paper. i've paid off for lease car back in march 2020 and they still think i owe them £156 even though they gave me a good will gesture because of their pathetic service. if i could give no stars i would one star is way to much for this shabby company
