Haven’t been for years. Don’t know the shop staff any more. Very helpful. Thought I might have been stared at as a stranger in this niche market but no, I was treated better than most shops do, very professional and knowledgable. Had a good selection and most is listed online so you can get an idea before you go. We also used the cafe and watched someone having a shooting lesson. Definitely will be going back.

The facilities there are good. However, the prices for non members are a rip off. Also, if there are problems with the traps not releasing clays, when you report this, they ignore you and still charge you for every count on the card even if you had no Clay released. Left feeling I had been ripped off.

Wow! What an awesome job they have done developing Mendip Shooting Ground. Great facilities, awesome breakfast, friendly staff, and then we come to the English Sporting stands...I felt like a kid lost in a sweetshop, so many choices and presentations to choose from and so well laid out. I thoroughly recommend Mendip Shooting Ground.

As good as it gets these days is Mendip shooting ground. You have to go some way to find an equivalent ground. There's Sporting, skeet, DTL, air rifle ranges and an underground rifle range plus fishing at Mendip. The food in the restaurant is first class along with the service in the gun shop. Very highly recommended as it's an excellent ground that's actually not overpriced. 👌😉
