This company has to be the worst housing provider in Yorkshire if not the UK. Same issues with leaks from my shower for the last 3 years and damage to my flooring, all you get from Yorkshire Housing is no communication to emails sent into them, this includes their own CEO, then you get an abrupt email back from a manager when logging a specific complaint about her Hi Darran, Thanks for your email. I’m sorry you feel I was ignoring your email yesterday, I can assure you this was not the case. I was unable to respond to the email you sent yesterday as I was busy with other duties. Please allow at least 24hrs for a response from myself. The customer services team take 2 days to respond to requests raised with them. They confirmed yesterday they have raised the job for the handset with a company called CRS who will contact you to arrange an appointment. The job Number is : 1977619. I’ve also sent your query to the claims team informing them you are chasing contact from them. Kind regards, Se***a A******r

I have applied for the rent property from Yorkshire Housing over a week ago. Today I have received a phone call from them! I have never had anyone being so rude to me over the phone in my life for simply trying to be helpful!! Very poor on you treating vulnerable people like this!

It takes ages to get through on the phone and I have had two aggressive males talk down to me on the phone - one due to a emergency leak in the boiler which I ended up recording on my phone for evidence which ended up being a big water bill which they in end refunded me for major loss of water - the repair guy was polite but the person on the phone with the Scottish accent wasn’t and now dealing with noise pollution and the guy in customer services was rude talking down to me and so now any interaction on the phone will be recorded - They are good at taking the rent but not providing the services like corridors are not cleaned every week and litter plus rats which have been reported to wakefield council plus su prize rent hikes and service charges - not value for money - am now looking to move elsewhere

A discrace do not deal with health and safety of residents, no repairs to security we now have squatters camping and smoking outside our door, lost our mobility needs parking allocation, they just ignore emails and phone request's.
