I used to take my daughters to the organised outdoors activities years ago and they still remember everything. Now I send my son every year to the camping trip with brother Muslim who is a great guide, skilled and patient. It has always been an amazing experience for my children and above all they learnt skills for life. They now grow up with full of awesome memories. I highly recommend!

Aslam-o-Alaykum First of all thank you so much for providing an amazing experience for my son and nephew, we don’t have enough words to express how spectacular this trip was. I will try to go step by step. Booking and more info: The information provided was very clear and you were very happy to answer any questions i had regarding this trip and I was very worried because it was my son’s first solo trip without his parents. But after speaking to you i was very satisfied and decided to let him go alone. It was very easy to book with a mangeable deposit and there was a discount for early payments. Communication: Having a Whattsapp group to update all parents and participants was an amazing idea and we were able to ask any question and alot of info was provided regarding border control paperwork and Covid 19 updates and everything needed for the trip and how to pack for an easy access. I loved the weekly schedule provided before the trip so i knew exactly where my son will be and when also we discussed the trip before going. Also the extra numbers provided for emergency gave me as a parent extra reassurance and i loved the picutres that were uploaded regulary so i could see what my son was doing and in every picture i could see he was so happy. Prepration and Induction: It was very nice for the boys to get to know each other before the long trip and eat together at your house as it made them bit more comfortable during their journey. Also thank you so much for that experience as it was very good for my son because he is very shy. Day of the trip: It was very nice to be updated on the group about the times the you left and when you crossed the border. Also i loved the first picture that was sent when you guys arrived in France. France: Shahban loved sleeping on the terrace he told me he slept so well and peacefully while looking at the starts. He also loved sitting around the open fire, resting in the hammock and he really liked swimming in the lake. Switzerland: Shahban really liked the views and he was very brave going in the cable car. Germany: He told me this was the best place he visited due to its scenery and he enjoyed shopping there too. Overall it was a spectacular trip Alhamdulillah and he asked me if he can go again because he enjoyed every bit of it as well as the company he was in. Inshallah i will send him again in the future. We all had a great Great week in the heart of Europe , spending time up in the beautiful mountains of Switzerland ,swimming in the coldest water in France and going in to the old town of Freiburg in Germany doing all sorts of activities that taught me about the lifestyle of the people who live in these areas. As well as this I made some friends who are all truly great . I am very thankful to Max for giving me such a life experience which I'm sure won't be beaten any time soon .

Absolutely fantastic. My first camping trip away with the kids so I was a little anxious in terms of what to expect. Mellow Journeys definitely allayed my anxiety right from the get go. Max was brilliant from start to finish. His expertise, relaxed manner and effortless drive were the perfect combination to allow our group of 4 dad's and 7 children to make the most of the beautiful surroundings around us. The children especially took to Max's wide ranging knowledge of nature and thoroughly enjoyed the fruits of it, quite literally! (Blueberries) Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone considering a trip away.

A phenomenal experience and highly recommended for all, particularly the permanent urban dwellers! A time to remember, and to immerse yourself and appreciate the beauty that nature really has to offer. The camp Lead and Coordinator, Max, offers some great insight making this a genuinely enriching experience. Had a great time, loved the climax of the sensational dip in the lake at the end of a tough but enjoyable trek! Spent around a day and a half but, despite travelling to many parts of the world, the authenticity of this experience definitely made it the best holiday I have been on! Took my 6 and nearly 8 year old who had a spectacular time! Thank you Max!
