My wife and I had a very nice experience at Mele. The owner could not have been any more helpful. Very good range of products. We actually went in the shop to have a look for a new Barbour for me, but ended up buying a Barbour for my wife which was at an extremely good price. I would definitely recommend the shop and will be back to get MY new jacket. Thank you. 160123 I have just been back to Mele to buy a new wax jacket and Lee, the owner of the shop, again, couldn't have been more helpful. I ended up buying a superb Barbour Corbridge jacket the price of which was extremely good especially with the discount that I was offered. I have bought quite a few items from this shop over the past years for both myself and my wife and every time I have found Lee extremely pleasant and very helpful. Thankyou again Lee and I will defiantly be back to see you for our next purchase.

Wouldn’t give refund on a jacket that the owner pushed me into buying. I would have bought a different style but wasn’t interested in helping. Very poor customer service. Extremely pushy!!!

The owner knows his stuff and shop has nice outdoor wear but he was quite rude. I lost count of number of times he told me it is “a specialist shop”. Without asking my budget for a coat he told me that a Belstaff “was not in my price range”! When I asked about gloves he said he had them but they were still boxed up and clearly had no interest in showing me. I left and went and bought the same coat online.
