*Update July 2021* recently been a change in management and this seems to have improved some things and has been much better since. Deeply disappointed that this post office moved into Martins. Since then the staff have been unhelpful and on occasion rude. During the pandemic I am having to go there to deliver things for work despite otherwise being in lockdown. On more than half the times I have been they have said they aren't serving in the post office (there is a sign on the door saying 'if we're open the post office is open') at the time meaning I have to make a return trip. Today I went to hand over some prepaid items one of which needed scanning. I also wanted to buy some 2nd class stamps. They said they didn't have the number that I asked for but held up a sheet of them. The main postmistress then shouted up saying 'oh we can't sell you those'. I mean what is the point of a post office if they won't sell you the stamps they so clearly have?!

Staff extremely rude. I would like to give zero stars. I had received confirmation from both the retailer and Royal Mail to say my order had been delieved to the collection point. The woman basically refused to go in the back room to check if my order had been delivered and just said it had not arrived straight away. I asked her to please check in the back room and I heard her muttering and moaning about me to another colleague. When she came back she had a go at ME and told me the postman scan the item before it arrives to them. I showed her both the collection confirmations and she continued to have a go out ME and shouted at me 'I HAVE TOLD YOU TO CONTINUE ROYAL MAIL ' I was absolutely appalled by her rudeness. This post office should be closed down.

Closed early without warning, no apologies other than "we've got other jobs to do, we only get paid until 6 so that's when I'm leaving"
