I highly recommend this class. Having started a couple of years ago as a beginner I found everyone very friendly and welcoming. Never having done any martial arts before, I found instructors very helpful, patient and approachable if anybody has any questions, making sure we look after our bodies in respect of injuries etc. Also, the location is very convenient, near buses and tube stations. I am really glad I chose this class.

I've been attending this branch for several years. It's a warm, friendly class, with people of all skill levels there. What's great is the class is structured in such a way that you can always train at the right level for you, accounting for fitness, injury or even how bad your day at work was. Over the pandemic lockdown classes have moved online and these have been a great success. It was a little different at first, but I realised quickly we were still doing tai chi! It's been a great support and benefit through this strange year.

I have been attending this class for three years now, moving seamlessly to zoom after the pandemic broke out. It's a really great class: friendly, inclusive, supportive and rigorous all at the same time and I look forward to it every single week. I have been really impressed at how well we moved from the hall to zoom, and how hard and inventively the (extremely dedicated) teachers have worked to give us an experience that is every bit as rich and rewarding as the classes in the hall. I recommend both Tai Chi and this class wholeheartedly.

This class is amazing! I started learning tai chi to improve my strength and balance, but I've also found it has mental health benefits, and I always come away from the sessions feeling relaxed and energised. It's a welcoming and supportive environment for beginners, and I've learned movements I didn't realise my body was capable of, which has given me the confidence to push myself further. And... it's fun! Would recommend.

I've been going here for five years (could be six, time flies). Started as an absolute beginner and was made to feel very welcome. All standards are here, with the class split according to experience and then working as a group. You can take from it what you will - some have used it as a springboard for further understanding of the principles that underpin tai chi, others come for no other reason that to get and stay flexible - I used to have a bad back, now I don't. The teaching takes place in an atmosphere that is serious without being austere. Recommended for the curious or those wishing to get back into the discipline.

Very welcoming and friendly environment, teacher and students, suitable for complete beginners and more experienced people. It's really close to Oval and Stockwell stations and on loads of bus routes (59, 159, 3, 133). I started more than two years ago and I'm absolutely loving it. Definitely recommended to anyone who wish to try and approach Taijiquan for the first time."
