I requested for a one off deep clean service paying extra after tenants moved out. Paid £50 for agency fee - she found a cleaner quickly. I was informed about starting date and how long usually it takes (6-8hours to clean 3 beds house, £14 per hour). Unlike what I was informed, cleaner did not start the job on a given date and two cleaners came next day. They charged me double for 5 hours of cleaning. After they left I found that kitchen area was largely uncleaned. Oven still had food bits, grease was left there, door was stained still, and cooker hood still have food stains and grease. One fitted shoe rack was still all dusted and floor tape was left as it was. I sent an email with pictures that works were not done and the agency said, they have received good reviews so far and I am just shadowing them. Funny how they responded. And she said the cleaners did not have time because house was so dirty - basically the property does not have any furniture and it is a new build property left empty after tenants lived one year only. When they said they needed more time to clean, I gave them more time to clean as well. The agency lady said she would just stick to the good reviews rather than seeing all those pictures about jobs not done. Complaints not accepted or were not professionally dealt either! I hired other cleaners before and it took them 3 hours to clean the entire house. And this time I paid extra to do deep cleaning. This is the STANDARD they set, so DO NOT go for this company.
