If you care about aircraft and aircraft preservation this place is for you. If you don't then don't bother. We had an incredibly interesting hour and as I live locally I will go again soon. No facilities no cafe no problem.

If you have a passion for old aircraft, this is a good place to visit, as you can see the MAPS Chaps, as they are known, working on their restoration projects. The latest project is a Hawker Hurricane, once flown by the Russian Air Force during WWII. You can get a tour of the workshop and on site they also have a small visitor area and shop of memorabilia, Airfix kits, etc. A nice bunch of blokes, well worth a visit.
