MEDIVET SURREY QUAYS HAVE DISABLED MY CAT unfortunately its come to me having to write a review since their complaints team don’t regard this issue important enough. My already sick cat came to surrey quays to get his ear infection treated. Instead of just prescribing antibiotics, we went through a long winded process of pointless ear drops which only made the infection worse. Come to eventually needing his ear cleaned, the HEAD VET squeezed his ear so hard (i was there) it gave him vestibular disease that same evening. I have proof of this and the vet himself said he would take full accountability. Its beyond me why he was hired when there were numerous standard practises he couldn’t perform eg taking a blood sample without it turning into a BLOOD BATH. My poor senior cat now has a permanent head tilt due to his ear never recovering, not the mention the months of him not having a steady balance and being frightened at what was happening to him. MEDIVET HAVE DONE NOTHING TO FIX THIS. Thankfully the southwark branch has stepped in and been amazing managing his serious health issues (cushings disease, which if you know anything about feline health you know is extremely rare and dangerous). SURREY QUAYS AND MEDIVET COMPLAINTS TEAM HAVE DONE NOTHING. SURREY QUAYS MEDIVET NEEDS TO CLOSE DOWN. IT IS THE WORST PRACTISE IVE EVER BEEN TO. YOU NEVER HAVE ANY STAFF. JUST GIVE UP. I’m not going to stop here. You WILL compensate us for the disability he has been left with. And you WILL be held accountable for hiring unqualified head vets.

I would double check your opening times on google. I just have been down 6 separate occasions at varying times and the shutters have been down each time (I have avoided 12-2 as you always seems to be closed then!) My dog is now 3 weeks overdue his medicine that you have got his disease wrong in the first place! Any time I phone it just says my call cannot be taken. Shambles

Impossible to get them on the phone. Tried every hour, different days. Even though it's supposed to be open.

i have a long legged Staffordshire terrier - i took him in for check up and annual injection ---- I found the experience to be positive loving -- and felt vry safe to relax with the staff and vet interacting with my dog -------- My dog reacted a bit understandably so -- I can only say ---- really happy with the --- confidence from staff and vet dealing with my Staffordshire terroir ----- the confidence and trust element from the staff I am 100% sure helped my big lump have his worry's but feel 100% safe --- its bloody good to have professional people react in a calm way ------- keeping me clam too ------ brilliant

Customer complain letter has been made and sent with regard to the reception’s misbehaviour and mis-conduct at the Surrey Quay branch on 15- Dec-2022. Please can you treat your long-term customer politely? To the reception lady today at 7pm, I know you hate your job, but please do your duty and treat people nicely - I just wanted to buy my dog digestive care food- it is just a quick grab and pay activity, and you don’t need to thread me by saying you would call the police and blocked me out badly with an opening sign is still on the door . Everyone is suffering from freezing winter time and please be kind. You did make me very sad and depressed today. I wish no one could treat you like what you have done to me today.

We have been using this clinic for a few years and find the services to be very good. However, they are down on staff and getting an appointment lately (Nov22) has been tough. We really like Medivet and have used the Camberwell and Southwark vets in the absence of availability at Surrey Quays.

Such a great practice! We're registered with our mini lop, Mr Choc and we've been happy with every visit so far. Our vet is always so caring and clear at explaining what's happening at the examination. Reception is also very helpful every time we call/email. Keep up the good work, we really appreciate it!
