I do not recommend this vets’ practice. It used to be privately owned and you received personalised and sympathetic service and the vets put pet care first. They even sent you a condolences card when your pet died or had to be put down. However, now it’s become a chain company, they seem only to care about money. I was shocked at how every conversation started with money and costs rather than on veterinary care. Then, when they can't even save your pet, the first thing they talk about is how much you owe them which has to be paid there and then. No compassion or sympathy; just simply a money-making business to them. Prices are extortionate too. And every time we have been, it has been a different vet, so you can't build the relationship in the same way you could when it was a private practice. The way they dealt with us a client compounded the whole situation of losing our pet and made it much harder to come to terms with.
