Great vets. Greeted as we walked in (not ignored as per my current vets). Staff took plenty of time to explain the treatment. I felt confident leaving my dog to be spayed (one of the few places offering laparoscopic treatment). Not cheap but quality costs money !

Used to consider this place a professional and ethical practice until I recently required emergency treatment and paid £600 for 5 minute treatment that involved cleaning the wound and 5 staples without sedation. I was given the option to sedate for 1000 instead :) Oh and just found out that the aftercare that involves check up and then staple remove will cost extra, so all in all around £800. This was a tipping point so I discharged myself, just to be clear. I do not want double glazing salesment to sell medical care, it is wrong. Place must have a new owner or owner has no idea what is happenjng, because I had given it 5 stars it deserved in the past. I did dental here, for my dog not me. A several hour treatment - consultation, tests, sedation, multiple extracrions, gum surgery, dental clean and aftercare cost same like I just paid for 5 min wound clean and staples and even without sedation, speechless. I aleays thought one becomes Vet out of love for animals, I wanted to be one too, I would now have to charged higher rate for wound cleaning than most expensive plastic surgeon or lawyer in country. If you question ethics based on the rate they charge well we kinda know how ethical lawyers are right? But, they really are as the profession has ethical boundaries, whereas Veterinary clinics do not, there is no cap or regulator who care to monitor the industry, one thing is for sure even a lwyer would never take advantage of animal suffering, because they know it is not just unethical. I hope I never have to return there and I hope Medivets do not suffer from insomnia …
