The receptionist are great however the vets dont seem to have your pets best interest at heart and is all about up selling. Only 1 vet here i like and that is kate. She is a solid 10/10, knows our pets needs and is loving and caring so we go to her in the Goldthorpe branch which is 10 mins away alot smaller but 10x better.

Always manage to get quick appointments. Everything is explained throughly before and after procedures. I’ve had one dog spayed and one with allergies with ongoing treatment. I’ve unfortunately had to put 2 other pets to sleep here and they are always sympathetic and kind.

Wasn't able to use my dogs insurance due to it needing to be 'pre authorised' (how often do people get prior warning of an impending Vet visit to be able to have it 'pre authorised').....isn't the whole point of having insurance to allow people to have their pets seen without the worry of the extortionate prices that Vets charge? (It's now £43 before you even see the Vet!).....Because of this company policy with regards to insurance claims I ended up being £20 short of the final bill and this then led to staff at the practice holding much needed antibiotics to ransom! Was initially told I could pay what I had and return a few days later to pay what would have been the remaining £20 but this was quickly taken off the table as an option by the head nurse and instead I was told I would not be able to access the antibiotics for my Dog until I had the full amount! Luckily I managed to get back the very next day with the remaining £20 to clear the account but had I not this practice were happy to let an infection fester over the weekend which could have potentially led to complications and further discomfort for my Dog for the sake of £20....so not only do they make it almost impossible to use insurance they then add insult to injury by holding your pet's health at ransom if you can't pay everything up front in one go! 😡 Disgraceful company!
