Had ongoing leak in my roof since November. Had roofer out 3 times. Plumber twice, out of hours services multiple times and even supervisors too. Was assured there would be scaffolding to go up beginning of Jan 2023 and still no sign of that happening, my living room is continuously dripping across half the ceiling, it’s stained yellow and cracked through the middle, ready to cave in on our heads. I have 3 young children 1 of them being a 10months old baby and there’s no safety for any of us! Only advise Iv been given by Mears workers is “I wouldn’t sit under there if I was you” knowing full well I have to remain here.. overall an awful service from Mears and Thurrock Council too!

Do not give this company your house to manage, fast rotation of new staff, tried renewing 2 year tenancy agreement and completed forms 3 times due to rotation of their team. Then, it took over a year to renew, then they finally couldnt renew the contract because of local council related issue, so they just posted me my keys and stopped managing it. No comms, no response, no consideration, lower rents, no hope.
