Agreed with below reviews. I have lost over £80 because of their scam. They don’t let anyone freeze/cancel plan via meal pal app. They are not showing me an option even on their website to cancel only postpone the date. They don’t have an option to delete the credit card. They don’t have a phone number for support to help.

If only they were honest. Great concept, but to get unauthorised charges reversed I had to go through my credit card company. I could draw some comparisons to various fraud schemes, but instead maybe just avoid them.

Absolute scam service. They have double charged me £31 and refuse to refund. In addition to that, the service was purchased just before lockdown, and all restaurants were closed shortly after. I could not use the service at all, yet they STILL refuse to refund.

Stole money from my account! Mealpal have started taking £4.99 from my account each month as a 'membership fee' without ever notifing me or asking for my permission. The only reason I noticed was when I saw unrecognised transactions on my credit card bill and thought my mealpal account had been hacked. I appreciate times are difficult at the moment, but this kind of shady business practice is tantamount to fraud!

This is a scam; restaurants are all closed due to quarantine but they refuse to issue a refund. Everyone reading this in the same position, contact your bank to do a 'chargeback'. If enough people do it they won't be able to take card payments anymore.

SCAM!!! downloaded the app when they were offering a new service. Since downloading they have charged me 4.99 a month for the last 8 months without my knowledge. There are no contact details or ways to cancel your card in the app. I will be contacting the financial ombudsman immediately.
