(Translated by Google) We were in the cottage for two weeks, it was amazing. The owners were really nice and spoiled us with eggs and honey from the farm, the cottage was equipped with everything we needed, the farm is amazing and there is a direct train to London only an hour away. highly recommend.

After a very stressful few years of Covid, we decided to book Larkrise at meadowview cottages for a long overdue family get-together. We were very comfortable and confident that Judith and Jim had followed all the necessary precautions to ensure we had a safe stay with them. The cabin was very well equipped and super cosy, and there were even fresh eggs from the chickens ready for our breakfast. Situated on a working farm there was plenty for the children to see and explore. I cannot speak highly enough of Judith and Jim's hospitality, as nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much for having us, we will most definitely be returning.

Winning location and wonderfully homely cottage We have just spent 6 weeks at the Coach House whilst having our house renovated. Despite being local and choosing mainly on location and proximity to home - we could not have wished for a better place to stay. The farm is so peaceful - a wonderful place for the children to play and enjoy seeing the animals. Our hosts, Judith and Jim, could not have done more. Nothing was too much trouble - including extending our stay twice and also hiring out another cottage for extended family to visit for a special birthday weekend. They were so generous providing fresh eggs, honey and chocolates during our stay. When you arrive you can tell that they are delighted to have you - fresh flowers, immaculately clean cottage, tea/coffee and milk in the kitchen, wonderfully comfy bedding and towels - it all signals the start of a wonderful stay. The cottage itself is extremely comfortable and extraordinarily well equipped. Literally, nothing you could need is missing. We loved barbecuing and sitting on the patio enjoying sunny dinners, as much as cosying up in front of the woodburner when it turned colder. The cottage is perfect both in the sunny weather and especially as it turns colder. For anyone new to the area - it makes a wonderful base - the local village has a coffee shop, bakery, deli, 2 supermarkets, butcher, pharmacy, pubs, takeaways and restaurants. Only five minutes drive or a 20 minute walk from the farm. We cannot recommend Meadowview cottages highly enough.

On a recent visit to the UK we stayed in The Granary at Meadowview Cottages for 2 weeks while we were doing our 10 days self-isolation and it was just brilliant! It had everything we could have wished for and then some more! Everywhere was beautifully clean and the accommodation has been prepared with a great deal of thought. Comfortable bed, fully equipped kitchen (with more pans & gadgets than I have at home!), fluffy towels, brilliant wifi and even fresh farm eggs and steak produced on the farm were waiting for us on arrival. We were very lucky with the weather and it was just great to have our own private patio garden to sit out and enjoy it all. There are lovely views from all the windows, information about local walks is provided and, if you want to visit Althorp, it is virtually “next door”. The hosts, Judith and Jim are so friendly and helpful that it really made the visit perfect for us. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at Meadowview Cottages.

We absolutely loved our stay at Meadow view cottages - we rented out all 3 cottages so that we could spend time together safely (in terms of covid). It worked perfectly - the children were able to explore the gardens and play area, feed the chickens, play with the dogs, meet the sheep and cows and most importantly - they were able to run to 'grandma and grandad's house' (Larkrise) at 7.30am on their own...! We were also able to all eat together in the evenings as Larkrise has a covered veranda with beautiful views and sounds. We loved visiting all of Northamptonshire's country parks and Castle Ashby, and just being together on the farm. Judith and her husband made us feel very welcome and were very kind with the children. We have booked again for next year - a fantastic holiday after a grim year of covid lockdown.

Fabulous location with a superb host. Located on a working farm surrounded by cows, sheep and chickens, yet quiet and with great WiFi and a host who was always friendly and helpful (fresh eggs each week). Well equipped kitchen, comfortable furnishings. Would recommend to families, business people and holiday makers alike. Our 10 weeks between house moves here have been fantastic.
