Learning tai chi with William @ MDA Newbury is a great experience. His style of teaching is very relaxed but has a great structure. In the 4 months that I have been attending his classes, I have made far more progress than I made with previous instructors. I've learnt a lot about the martial aspects of tai chi which is really useful in helping understand how the different moves of the form fit together.

After many years training in Judo, Sport Karate, Kickboxing and Traditional Shotokan, I felt it time to continue my Martial Art Training in something less aggressive / strenuous and have found Tai Chi to be an excellent Style to practise. I have found over the past couple of years training with William Mak at Newbury MDA absolutely fantastic. William always seems able to spread himself around to give each practitioner from beginner to advanced the time they need from him during each lesson with clarity along with his never ending patience (me especially !) and friendly smile.
