Have just received back pair of trousers sent for cleaning through waitrose. Shocking is all I can say. Beautiful trousers treated like rags. Even still had the seating creases from when I wore them last! Not even pressed properly. Will not be using johnsons again. Really upsetting and a waste of money.

My partner and I have been searching for a good ironing company for a couple of months and decided to try the Johnson’s at Bishopsthorpe road, LRO434, York. We dropped 20 pieces to iron, including 7 shirts, on Tuesday 3rd May. On the spot we were quoted £64 for the job and were informed the clothes would be ready by Thursday. We thought that price was high, but when on the following day I received a ready for collection text notification, I thought at least we were going to get a swift and efficient service. My partner collected the items and when we got them out of the bags, we were shocked at the state of them with the clothing being so badly creased it barely looked ironed at all. We are extremely unhappy with this service and would strongly recommend that people do not take their clothing here.
