Needed to replace all of our windows and from our intial enquiry to completion they were absolutely amazing.Within 48 hours Brian arranged to view and explained everything we needed to know advised us on the best windows we needed .We were kept informed at all times by Kate in the showroom and on the 27th our windows along with two unbelievable fitters arrived and low and behold in less than a day the old were removed and the super new units were installed,and the house was left spick and span. We are both absolutely thrilled with our new windows and would have given Maclean's more than 5stars and would have definitely no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to replace their windows Mike and Julia Taylor

My house needed some brickwork doing to reduce the size of an old window, which was to be replaced. Which ment having a new window board & wall plasterd to make good. Nothing was too much trouble. Thoroughly recommend! I recently had all of my windows and front door replaced (which included McLean's gaining planning permission on my behalf), and a glass balustrade installed. The whole process from start to finish has been remarkably painless, from Simon's laid back sales approach through to the jewel in McLeans crown being the installation, and in particular Andy and Paul who come with immense experience in the trade; the two of them whizzed effortlessly through the house, dealing competently and easily with any number of fiddly and awkward bits that come with old houses. There's an old saying about getting what you pay, so whilst McLeans weren't the cheapest quote I received, the quality of the workmanship is in abundance and well worth paying that little bit extra for a significant level of quality. I am a little lost by some of the more negative reviews as that's certainly not been my experience. Reading some of them however it seems that some people underestimate how messy the job of replacing windows etc is. It is very, very VERY dusty, but to the team's credit they have cleaned thoroughly at the end of each day so you do get your house back each evening! If you are looking to have anything glass-related done at home, then I would encourage you to reach out to McLeans.
