I have rented from McDermott Homes/Lettings for 3 years and have nothing but positive things to say. I have dealt with Janet & Julie-Anne in the office and nothing has been too much trouble; I have always been able to get hold of them and when a few small repairs have been needed they have been dealt with within 24 - 48 hours. I would highly recommend renting from McDermott's and would like to praise the staff for their hard work and dedication.

Have you noticed that most the 5 star reviews are from staff?? In my experience I recommend you find another letting agent to deal with. The McDermott's staff are bullies who breach current regulations on GDPR and even their and own tenancy agreements. They selectively evict anyone who's lifestyle they dislike. Horrible company and staff steer clear of them at all costs.

Avoid at all costs, very slow to attend to remedial works. Always claiming to have other priorities and then attempt to charge the tenant at move out for the same issues. Unreasonable deductions made from the deposit, had to get the deposit protection company to step in. Check with the local citizens advice, they are well known for this underhand behaviour

I'm a tradesman and have been doing business with McDermott Developments for several years . I've always found them to be very easy to deal with, always friendly and helpful. I witness all the time, first hand ,how they do their utmost to take care of their tenants, even the ones who's way of life is to constantly complain. A good company, run by friendly helpful and capable staff.

My husband and I purchased a house in January 2018 from McDermott Homes on one of their site's in Bacup. The service we received from them was outstanding, nothing was to much trouble for them in helping us with our purchase. All the staff were very pleasant and patient with and went that extra mile in sorting out things for us. The house was just what we wanted and it was done to a hight standard.My sister has also been a tenant for over 3 years in one of their rentals and has always had great service from them.
