Everyone was very friendly and helpful, bringing out a range of rings (both new and secondhand) for her to try and listening to her feedback to help us find the perfect ring. I brought a couple of repairs here as I’d lost trust in a couple of high street jewellers and thought a more artisan approach was the way to go. A much loved and well worn necklace that had broken and a jewel set gold bracelet that had bent and lost a couple of stones. The staff were very knowledgable and kept me informed exactly when they said they would and I was more than happy with the quote. The items were repaired beautifully and on time. I am more than delighted with them both. The necklace is back where it belongs around my neck and the bracelet, well I can’t even tell which bit has been repaired. It is stunning. Thank you.

I rung McAvoy & Beardsmore for advice on a gift for my dad and honestly said that it wouldn't work very well due to the metal in my original pin badge. but suggested a lovely, handmade idea. The staff were and are AMAZING, professional and really thoughtful in their advice and service. They called me within a week with a quote and I went ahead with it. The commissioned piece was made in two weeks and I am so glad that they recommended their idea - it looks absolutely stunning and I cannot wait to give this to my dad for his birthday. Such thought and care has gone into every part of the brooch and I couldn't thank them enough - I really couldn't - I would most definitely highly recommend this local business to anyone who has any jewelry needs, the staff will be more than happy to help you or even give honest advice.
