Took my car in for a turbo replacement as mine has blown. Everything was nice and perfect received a decent enough price for the replacement. Went to pick up the car was made aware the reason my car was struggling further was due to drive shaft issue. Received a quote for that also. Car was off-road for the following two weeks, at a separate mechanic to fix the drive shaft (had a to complete a full rear axle replacement). When I got my car back finally on the 3rd week following turbo replacement I thought I can finally take it on a motorway blast. Car was struggling. A loss of power?! How if MBM have assured me the turbo is perfect and if I’ve just had a full rear axle replacement. Went and done the logical thing. Went back to the recent garage and queried whether the rear axle is causing issues. To my surprise, upon completing a diagnostics I was advised it’s a turbo fault?! Received this advice over the weekend so called MBM the following Monday 3rd April 5 times, 4th April once, 5th April twice, 6th April once no pickup at any point, before they closed for the Easter weekend. Called back on the following Tuesday to which I finally got through to someone which advised Tej will be back from holiday on Thursday and to contact back then as she was ‘unsure’ of the warranty provided. Called back on the Thursday 13th April and Mr Tej decided because I had called back after the warranty which had ended on the 7th April there was nothing he can do regarding a faulty turbo. Made Tej aware I had contact prior to the month end date and my car was off-road for most the warranty period. Made him aware the mileage as per the receipt provided by MBM has increased less than 100 miles, including driving back from MBM, driving from home to garage to scrapyard, to garage to fit the axle and back home. I had completed less than 30 personal miles. MBM and Tej do not care. They are oblivious to the fact I have phone records to show I have been in contact before the month end date. Tej refers to the product as the technicians product? So why do I have an MBM receipt? AWFUL customer service. Will be taking legal action.

This garage was an absolute find! Car was diagnosed by my local garage with EGR faults. They gave me a good price to replace the EGR but when I took the car down we had a conversation and Tej explained that it could be a multiple of things that are bring up this fault. I was reluctant to do another diagnostic check but Tej kindly suggested to do another diagnostics and if it was the egr they will go ahead and replace it without charging for the diagnostics. Turned out EGR didn’t need replacing and I actually saved money on the part that was replaced. Can’t thank Tej enough it’s hard to find a garage that’s honest and reliable.
