I can't speak highly enough of Danni and Maytree Photography. When we were searching for photographers, Danni's work really jumped out. She captures so many striking, fun and candid pictures. When we met Danni, she was really warm and accommodating, but also provided support and guidance, helping us to plan out the schedule of photos throughout the day. Danni seemed to instantly understand our personalities and relationship, and the tone we were looking for from the wedding photos. We weren't too keen on having posed photos, which Danni took into account and didn't pressure us into, but she also - very gently - encouraged us to take a few traditional photos, which we look back on now and love. Basically, trust in whatever Danni says! Both my wife and I are so grateful to Danni for giving us these memories and I would recommend her to anyone getting married in the future.

Honestly cannot recommend Danni enough - she took the photos for both our “lockdown wedding” in 2020 and our wedding reception in 2021, and both years our guests commented on how easy she made everything and how gorgeous the photos are (even the people who normally hate having their photos taken!). Various people have described the photos as “epic”, “amazing” and “fantastic” - and we couldn’t agree more, we’ll be swooning over them for years to come! We LOVED the preview photos that came in within a couple of days of each celebration - and then when the full edit came in I just couldn’t stop looking at them - they’re so beautiful and really captured the spirit and emotion of both of our days - which were so different from each other, but the photos feel super cohesive because of her amazing style. There’s a lovely mixture of posed “family” photos, soppy romantic photos, and fun photos - as well as her capturing all of the small details in the day. Some of the photos also captured moments that I didn’t see - which were so so lovely to look over after the wedding. She was also super understanding and flexible about all of the changes, and so relaxed that it just made both the lead up to the celebrations, and the celebrations themselves so much easier. She gave us loads of top tips about various things which were super helpful. On the day(s) we barely even knew she was there - apart from her regularly checking in to make sure she’d got all the photos we wanted. She also liaised with all of our other suppliers which made life easier because it meant that everything was in hand and there was nothing we had to worry about. Like I said - we can’t recommend her enough, she is truly fabulous!

We hired Danni to be our wedding photographer and it was one of the best decisions we made. Danni travelled down to our wedding in Derbyshire in October 2019, on the "wettest" weekend of the year when everywhere was flooded, and she was perfect. She arrived early, and then also stayed until later than planned. She got some great pics throughout the day in a super descrete way, and snuck us off on a few occasions to get some amazing pictures. We often look back on her album and everytime that we do, we are thankful to Danni for capturing our day in the most perfect way.
