Fantastic community hall located at 1 Neptune Street SE16 London. Nest to Neptune Park and stands where Rotherhithe town hall used to be. The hall is a community base for Mayflower Tenants Association and a.k.a "The Old Assembly Hall" or just "Assembly Hall". Built WW2 c1945 (?) the hall is a 70+ year old "temporary" structure still standing solid and very well used today. Steel frame and concrete. The hall can hold over 400 people and increasing unusual today the hall has a stage. Southwark Council will be renewing the original roof in 2017/18. Step back into history in this hall!
