Hello. My girlfriend was meant to attend an English course in summer 2020 which had been prepaid in Nov-19. In the initial stages of the pandemic the school was faffing around on what to do (moving to an online course format) therefore my girlfriend cancelled the course within the contractually prescribed limit with an immediate request for a refund. Communication has been very difficult with the school and since 2021 has been cut off altogether. No refund for the course fees has to ever been issued. Please do reach out if you are in the same situation.

Covid didn't stop this school communicating with foreign students and collecting course prepayments in anticipation of reopening, however it took mere days for this school to drastically cut communications and blame the pandemic for not willing to refund any money. Months later with a considerate effort from The British Council the school started to reply but they are crying about financial difficulties (no word about the UK Government support of course) and offering a miserable fraction of the fees back saying that it is that or nothing! Well, they sure are well aware of the situation for all foreign students that they won't go to court in the UK!

In total, I studied English for about 7 months, 5 days a week, 3 hours a day. I want to say that I definitely made progress in my language learning, for example, I raised the level from pre-intermediate to upper intermediate. Unfortunately, I am still a long way from advanced, but I will try🙌 But I will not say that everything was very smooth and simple. At school, I had great teachers who listened to you, understood and explained everything, and always brought variety to each lesson. We had a variety of activities, games, quizzes, contests. The teachers also organized extra-curricular activities: sometimes we met in a restaurant, and sometimes we went bowling! I have no complaints about the organization of the workflow. I can definitely recommend this school for my friends and acquaintances!
