Update: 24/2/23 MMS responded to my review by posting my full name and my home address. They included a delivery address that had nothing to do with my review. I will not be intimidated by them. The matter has been referred to the police. Beware of using this company 'Buy and Sell cars', Mayfair Motor Solutions LTD or their other company in Wandsworth. If no stars was possible, that is what I would give them. Car advertised on Auto Trader under Buy and Sell Cars. Got a message from Mayfair Motor Solutions Ltd to pay the deposit to them as the car is in their show room. Like previous reviews, found out that they don't do test drives even if deposit paid. They only cover congestion charge if you write a review - which you have to do there and they check that you have done so. You get no proof that they have paid the charges. You have to show proof that you have taxed the car, etc. I collected a Corsa on Saturday 21st January 2023. Not valeted, no mats, a little petrol in the tank. Whilst driving home, approximately 5 miles from dealership, the car wouldn't go into gear or neutral. Several times I had to turn off the engine and restart the car. Very dangerous. Called and messaged the dealer - no response. They don't open on Sunday so car parked up, not safe to drive and remains parked up 11 days later. Monday they arranged a mobile mechanic to look at the car. He arrived around 7PM. Took the car around the block and reported that the clutch had gone, leaking slave and stiff gear. He called and informed the dealer (Musa). He refused to provide a courtesy car and is refusing to do the repairs, even though it is under warranty and told the finance company that I burnt out the clutch - really! So I have a car that I am paying for that I can't drive safely. I suppose, if I had purchased a prestige car, they would be falling over themselves to fix it. Please avoid at all cost, unless you want a car that breaks down in less than a day. This is a honest and genuine experience. (originally posted 2 wks ago) Update. ACE inspection reported fault at point of sale. MMS want car taken to Kwikfit Wandsworth 14/1/23, however Kwikfit (W) specialist away for a month. They refuse to let me sort out the repairs quicker and them cover the cost. Somehow my previous review disappeared and only positive reviews remain on the site.
