    !!! If you want to save your money read this!!! I wish there was an option for zero star. The place looks so nice but the staff was just so rude to me and my friends we went there just 3 girls with prior bookings and the place they sat us was in between the toilet and the dj so we were looking people go the whole time. The dj looked like the 4th person on the table whom we are not offering the food it was that close. When we ask about changing the seats to the outside location they told us that it was raining before n it starts raining again they will NOT LET US IN. imagine leaving your customers out in the rain. Pretty classy! And when we saw another couple leaving we asked politely can you please change our seats to the that table the lady or very bad hostess told us no coz it will take them 20 mins to prepare the table and then our table. And let me tell you we haven't started even ordering yet so there wasnt nything to prepare in our table. Then within 5 mins she sat the other group down who dint have the reservation and apparently italian as does she (i know all this coz he was ahead of us when we were waiting for our table and they were talking) so he basically sweet talk her into getting a nice table. If only we knew making reservations wasnt good enough there. They treated us like we dont belong there for no reason. Only the waiter was so nice and patient. He was the only gentle soul. And then to top it off they forgot about one item in our order. We waited there like a fool for good 30mins n the other person started clearing our table in front of us n then we have to remind them of the pending order n he then went inside again n get the food. It was MEDIOCRE food for very high price and PATHETIC service. I would rather eat a stale bread thn to step foot in that place ever again. Just plain rude people and bland food.

    Excellent restaurant from the view to the food, drinks and service it was 5* across the board. I could not fault anything. The ambience is great for a date or a night out with friends. Cannot recommend this restaurant enough.

    Fun new rooftop restaurant in Hoxton (where the competition for good restaurants is fierce). Not sure the "Mexican theme" (vs pure Mexican) works perfectly, but the food was good if not quite worth the price. The sauce on the lamb chops could do with a rethink, as it overpowered the taste of the lamb. Will definitely go back when the weather allows outside dining.

    Such a wonderful evening at Maya! The staff were so lovely and friendly, and the pictures of the food speak for themself I think… delicious! Very impressed and left with a full tummy 🌮 Everything was fantastic from service to margaritas, the golden hour was my favourite cocktail 100%. Definitely visit Maya if you can, top tier dining experience.

    Went here for dinner and cocktails with a couple of friends. While the food was tasty, my friend's meal didn't come out until we had finished our food. The night was spoilt however, when an extremely rude waitress - who hadn't even been serving us, came over to tell us our two hours were almost up. This was incorrect, we still had 30 minutes but she was insistent on making us feel like we had already outstayed our welcome. On top of this she was very abrupt, questioned our arrival time and told my friend she could finish her meal on a sofa... She then snatched our receipt and stormed off to get the manager. The manager tried to solve the issue but just a note telling us the waitress 'is a nice person' is irrelevant to the situation as she certainly wasn't pleasant to us! We were incredulous at her rudeness, I expect way better from Soho House. Unbelievably disappointing.
