First I want to start by saying that I have had this wash-bag for 6-7 years with intermittent use (weekly to begin, turned to once per year!). At first I loved the product - what is not to like? Seemingly quality leather and well made. I’m not an “inspector” - rather someone who uses, puts away and moves on. I trust in the quality I buy and pay more for this privilege. However, I recently noticed that within the bag all the seams had peeled back and were frayed and pulling away. Clearly a manufacturing fault; after all this is a wash bag rather than a checked suit case getting clattered around an airport. There is no reason to think any inappropriate use would be the cause of such erosion. Of course, MS prominently advertises its long warranty so I figured all would be solved sharpish - a quality brand backs itself to put right issues. However, after some too and forth with the customer service team it transpired that their position was: (I) no design or manufacturing faulty (!!!!), and (ii) I would have to send the bag to Italy to be fixed, probably at my own cost. Outrageous. It’s a £250 wash bag!! More fool me. Despite the first few years of being a happy customer - no more! Keep an eye for quality defects and worse - poor customer service.

Thrilled and thankful for the after service Charlotte ,of Maxwell Scott offered me. After 12 years the inner divider became detached of my horseshoe purse, a gift from my late wife. I sent it back to them for a possible repair and they in turn sent it to their Italian partners. Alas it wasn’t possible to repair , as more damage would have been done in doing so. They sent the purse back along with a new purse which I truly appreciate. This is exemplary service . A big thank you.

Be warned, the so called durable faux leather lining degenerates over time into power over a loose woven fabric, no longer useful as the power gets on everything. The outer leather is to last a life time, but the lining isn't. I wish you would simply use a thick durable fabric instead. I have cut the lining off and hoping to replace it with something. You can see the remnants of it still in place. Utterly disappointing.

Fantastic service! I own a Lorenzo briefcase since 4-5 years, both design and quality is excellent. Unfortunately the clasp/lock mechanism broke recently on my briefcase and reaching out to Maxwell Scott I’ve been treated to a fantastic service mindset. Within the same day of notifying them I received several responses and a solution to repair the briefcase had been presented. In my case spare parts have been shipped without any cost inflicted on myself and my favorite briefcase will be back in rotation within short. Maxwell Scott will definitely have more business from me in the future and I highly recommend them!
