One of my favourite things is finding a great independent business that takes pride in their offerings. The Rug Shop in Shirley is possibly one of the best I have ever found. We had been looking for a rug for our new home and after looking in a few of the chains, we couldn't find anything we liked. I then happened across The Rug Shop, and wow. Their space is beautifully laid out, the team are incredibly helpful and genuinely enjoy the service they provide, there was no hard sell and it almost felt like we were walking around a gallery. The great thing is is that the prices are still extremely competitive. You don't pay a premium to come here, I mean obviously there are some expensive ones, but they are rightful so! We actually spent less than we intended and budgeted for, and got a MUCH nicer rug than we could have hoped for. I wholeheartedly recommend this fantastic store, and have already told a few friends to go check it out.
