As a piano teacher, I do not have any qualifications or experience teaching guitar. However, I can recommend some reputable guitar instructors in the area if you are interested.What teaching methods do you use?
I use a variety of teaching methods, tailored to each individual student's needs and learning style. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment that fosters growth and progress.How long are your lessons and what is the cost per lesson?
My piano lessons are typically 30 minutes long and cost £20 per lesson. Longer lessons are available upon request and can be adjusted accordingly.Do you provide materials or do I need to purchase them separately?
I provide all necessary materials for my students, including sheet music and other resources. However, if there is a specific piece or book that you would like to work on, you may need to purchase it separately.What is your cancellation policy and how flexible are your scheduling options for lessons?
I ask that students provide at least 24 hours notice if they need to cancel a lesson. If less notice is given, the full lesson fee may still be charged. I am generally flexible with scheduling and can work with students to find a time that works best for them.Reviews

Matthew is a naturally, musically gifted individual who is accomplished in a variety of instruments and is very adept at teaching these skills, especially to children. He has an ability to be both patient and warm, kind and gentle, whilst at the same time bestowing his extensive knowledge to his pupils. He is very reliable and has been teaching my son to play the guitar for over two years starting with the acoustic guitar and now having moved on to the electric guitar. I would highly recommend Matthew as a music teacher.
