The length of our sessions varies depending on the type of session and the needs of our clients. A portrait session may last 30-60 minutes while a wedding could be anywhere from 6-10 hours. Matt shot our wedding last easter and he was fantastic! We hadn't had chance to meet Matt in person before the wedding due to the pandemic, but we instantly felt comfortable with him. He was exactly what you want a wedding photographer to be, friendly and excited about being a part of your day but also blending into the background and just capturing the moments around him instead of directing the day. We chose Matt because we wanted candid photos of moments of us and our guests enjoying the day and he did that perfectly. He's also just a really nice, genuine human and we would highly recommend.

We cannot recommend Matt enough. Not only was he absolute perfection throughout the whole booking process but also on the actual day. He felt like a guest and a friend at our wedding as well as our photographer. Matt knows exactly what he’s doing and everyone commented on his friendly manner, falling in love with him and how they wanted him for their wedding too. All of this is even before we saw our photos! This man is a magician and the raw emotion, love, smiles and fun that he captured are next to none. You feel like you are in a fairytale looking through your photos; they are magical, captivating and all round perfect. Through his documentary style of photography, Matt captures moments we didn’t even remember in the thrill of the day, creating even more valuable and precious memories with our family and friends. We cannot thank Matt enough for this whole experience and for the everlasting memories he created of our special day.

My husband Karl and I had an absolutely wonderful experience with Matt and wholeheartedly recommend using him for your big day. We felt immediately comfortable with him from our first zoom chat and knew we’d be in great hands come our wedding day. He also made our families and guests feel comfortable, which definitely helped in allowing him to capture truly authentic moments (no one seemed to be looking warily at the guy holding two big cameras!). He is such a fun and authentic person that I can’t imagine even the most camera shy of people feeling self-conscious around him. We really love Matt’s documentary style. Even though everyone tells you (including Matt!) how fast the day will go, it really hit home at the end of the day when many parts felt like a blur. It is thus so special that Matt’s photos (and he takes and shares A LOT!) tell the entire story of our day. Besides creating fantastic photos we’ll always treasure, Matt also gave us a very helpful step by step on what to expect on the day during our pre-wedding meeting, along with some sage advice that really helped in making sure we stayed ‘present’ and enjoyed every moment of the day. He did a great job of slotting in our couples photos during moments we wouldn’t be missed by our guests, and these moments also provided us an opportunity to step back and make sure we were appreciating and savouring the day (it really does go SO fast). In short, don’t hesitate to hire Matt! He creates incredible photos and is a really fun person to be around that will make you and all your guests feel incredibly comfortable.

Matt is not only an incredible photographer but his calm, friendly and reassuring demeanour makes him an incredible guy to have with you on your big day. His ability to capture the key moments of our wedding day was truly outstanding, what sets Matt apart is his skill in capturing the essence of the day without interfering or directing events, we were blown away by the incredible images he produced. Looking through the photos, it was clear that he had an incredible eye for detail, and he was able to capture the emotion and atmosphere of the day in a way that exceeded all of our expectations. Matt is professional and his communication throughout the entire process was exemplary, and he went above and beyond to ensure that we were happy with every aspect of the photography. Matt photographed our wedding in 2022 and was fantastic. I am a photographer myself and am quite particular about the style of images I like! Matt created beautiful, natural, and unstaged images throughout the day. A helpful and friendly professional to have around on the day, he even stepped in to offer advice on pinning corsage/buttonhole. Leading up to the day Matt was on hand to answer all our questions and even popped to the venue the day before to see how it was laid out. Many of our guests commented on how unobtrusive he was, and how great the photographs were! We will treasure the memories and every time I look through them I spot something new. Organised, calm, and a fantastic eye for composition! Thanks Matt!

If you want an amazing wedding photographer then you need to book Matt! He is so friendly but also professional, making us both feel super relaxed in the lead up to and on our wedding day. All of our friends and family at our wedding commented on how great he was and made everyone feel very relaxed which makes for great photos! Firstly, Matt is one of the nicest guys ever. So to have him there on your big day feels like one of your best mates is just blending in with everyone. Which he is, but whilst doing this he’s capturing every moment you would want. Which is what he did for us. We are in love with our pics, and still look at them most days (8 months on). He’s calm, confident in what he does, passionate about what he does and immediately puts you at ease and wants you to have the best day. We met Matt in person as well as video calls leading up to our wedding, making sure we were happy and talked through what WE wanted and went through every detail of the day to make sure he was in those moments capturing memories. I would recommend Matt to anyone looking for a photographer. He’s is amazing at what he does and still keeps in touch to see how we are. What a guy. What a photographer.

We met Matt at our friends wedding, and knew we wanted him to be our photographer when we got married. Matts style meant we didn’t have to waste the day posing for photos that we didn’t really want, but instead got to enjoy every moment. The photos are better than we could ever have imagined. Not only that, everyone kept asking if Matt and Jess were our friends as they fit in to the day seamlessly, chatting to everyone and enjoying the celebrations. They definitely both feel like friends now and I look forward to seeing them at other weddings soon.
