A) The teachers stay inside the building at the end of the day, when with other schools they stand outside watching the pupils until they have all been collected. B) The school have addressed the dog on school premises problem but need to tell parents not to have the dogs OUTSIDE the school gates. If a child is bitten leaving the school obviously the school will be held responsible. There was a huge rottweiler outside the gates last week. C) The school makes it clear that parents must be punctual in collecting their child(ren) at the end of the day otherwise they will be put into the afterschool club. However the teachers regularly let pupils out late. This causes problems with transport etc. D) The headteacher doesn't communicate well with parents (as far as I have seen/experienced). I rarely see her, and only recently (after about 2 years) became aware of who she is! Letters from the 'executive' head teacher appear informal and slightly odd to receive from the headteacher of a primary school!

Mather street primary school is an OK school, when the staff can be bothered. A few bad experiences over the last 3 years. If my children didn't have so many good friends they would NOT be there now.
