Dreadful treatment. Total lack of coordination and respect towards patients. Empty wards, no staff, no care, no hope. Went twice for a scheduled induction an was sent home after staying for 3 hours. If it was private it would have closed down long ago. Let's not forget to clap for the NHS.

Gave birth to my daughter here, mid covid in 2020. Was stressful as I wasn't able to see anyone and despite being induced was not progressing. Midwives offered a c section which happened within 3 days. The care by the staff was fantastic, made my first experience of birth very positive, assisted me with breastfeeding, changing nappies etc and had a right laugh with some of them. Would certainly recommend the maternity unit

Amazing care taken of me and my baby and also my partner. I also had the most amazing student midwife on the postnatal ward called Mollie who was just perfect. Highly recommend this hospital for midwifey care.
