Master Moves were given the gig of relocating residents of a block of 90 housing association flats in Hulme , Manchester some years ago.I was one of them. The men knocked on my door to move me and one asked; You got any brew tackle ? This was a request for tea. They had not even lifted a finger.I was so polite that I just made it .On moving back to my refurbished flat a young lad was in charge.The boss of Master Moves came to my flat to see him ,surveyed the place and told him there was not a lot to do.. I had done qute a bit myself. My choice. This guy was not a professional removal man and he clumsily bashed my fridge door. It eventually fell off. Also my washing machine leaked from the bottom after they moved it. I complained and a washing machine engineer came to my flat , courtesy of Master Moves. He sounded Scouse.This guy was shifty as anything and did not even examine my appliance,just told me it was in terrible condition,old and broken. The entire encounter felt dishonest and set up .

Poor communication, incompletion of full move. Management make an agreement with the client but on day of move staff are saying and doing something else. Was told that they will return the following day to collect what they couldn’t take (essential appliance) but did not turn up or make contact. However removal staff were polite.
