Haven't been for many a year but decided to go as the stroll around the lake is easy and flat. The grounds are very well kept and there were several people tending them. A well laid out play area for the smaller children, soft surface and fenced to stop dogs etc going in. The edges of the lake by the railings could do with a bit of a tidy up as lots of nettles and brambles which children in prams and toddlers could easily touch and get stung, although a nettle sting is not too bad for adults it is still irritating to the skin and would be worse for the kiddies. Good toilet facilities and the No 92 coffee lounge has plenty of seating outside to sit and enjoy a cuppa and/or a bite to eat. Car parking is available but limited.. Overall a lovely place.
