Im giving a 2 stars because most of the cage are just a waste of space. You will see 3 animals or 2 in large space and sadly some there is no animal on sight to be seen.

It's a lovely zoo. Lots of cafes and great play areas. The giraffes and rhinos are amazing. The toilets are quite far to the next, which is tricky with a 5 year old! Lots of animals we are used to seeing we either less in numbers or gone entirely.

Really disappointed. I have been to a number of zoos and I have to say this is the worst. They just have very little here. We found ourselves walking through the entire place only to find empty enclosure after empty enclosure. The one's that did have something in supposedly were hiding which I do understand happens, but pretty unlucky to come across several animals hiding. Even the penguins which were on display in 2 hard to see areas was not very good, they had 3 penguins in total and a very dirty pool which none of them were in. Cafe prices disgraceful.
