What an amazing afternoon, planning my hat for my sons wedding with Simon. His studio is lovely, stacked full of different hat types, colours, feathers and wonderful ideas. Simon is very accommodating and knowledgeable and I can’t wait to see the finished products, ended up ordering two hats, a wedding hat and one for ascot . One more reason to be thrilled when my son tied the knot - at last, an opportunity to decorate my head with one of Simon’s wonderful creations! I wasn’t sure what I wanted at first, but Simon is expert at teasing out a client’s ideas. We started with my outfit, and he quickly gauged that something lighter and less formal than a full hat would work best for me. He looked at the colour and style and suggested a headpiece which would add height and impact while remaining elegant and understated. Black and white could have been a challenge for someone who adores colour as Simon does, but he is also a master of shape and form, and the headpiece he produced was a monochrome work of art. It was an absolute pleasure to wear, and to receive the very many compliments and enquiries it generated. Thank you Simon for a Marvellous Millinery headpiece which transformed my wedding look from smart to sublime!

My one time to be Mother of the Bride so I wanted to feel special. Simon was fantastic. He studied my dress and shoes and then made a gorgeous hat, some tinted pearl jewellery and a little handbag which all coordinated with my outfit beautifully During the appointment Simon took me through hat styles and colour options and talked me through the options best for me. The whole experience was relaxing, interesting and fun. I received so many compliments on my daughter’ s wedding day which was so lovely. Thank you so much Simon, you were wonderful!
