I have had my Signature guitar since 2010 - built to my specs - all hand made. It is the best guitar I have ever owned. It is a pleasure to play. I was able to choose the timber. If you are looking to have a hand built solid guitar Martyn Booth is the person to go too. The quality and workmanship is amazing. And best of all is the sound quality and playability. My guitar can be seen on the Martyn Booth Gallery serial no 10-02-106. I have been a fender man for all of my life but not now.

I was recently in Martyn's workshop watching him hand shaping the neck of a top-of-the-range build, with a spokeshave over 100 years old, and most of it done by eye. Those skills are gone now, and it's a privilege to be around him. His workshop is like something out of the 1940's, with most of the tools being older than that, many handmade. Most people have never used a good guitar. They think they have because it has a famous name on it, but half the price is for just that, the name. Play a Martyn Booth, and you'll understand. You'll never meet a craftsman more devoted to the excellence of his work. Thank you, Martyn, for being who you are and what you are.
