I studied the Martsang Kagyu Lam Rim teachings directly from H.H. Gangri Karma Rinpoche since about 2014. The Lim Rim's instructions have been a catalyst to expose my clouded awareness and stir the aspiration to integrate the teachings into my life and move forward with a determination to help myself and, hopefully, others. It is easy to gain intellectual knowledge but not so easy to achieve a profound experience. However, H.H Gangri Karma's pure presence and example allow you to experience living Buddhism. In a world where new agers of all persuasions promise enlightenment, H.H Gangri Karma transmits beautifully and directly the traditional teachings for us to contemplate. It is unheard of to get such access to a great Master, let alone a lineage holder. I urge anyone who aspires to gain a deep understanding of Buddhism, the nature of the mind and the human condition to investigate the teachings on offer. H.H. is truly a light in what increasingly appears to be a ridiculously degenerate age. I found my idea of myself challenged, exposed and routed and yet strangely uplifted and free. The Lam Rim teachings of mind training work very well to help us understand the forces at work in the world. They are indeed timeless teachings. For the past 800-plus years, the Martsang Kagyu teachings have assisted beings in seeing the nature of reality. I cannot thank H.H. enough.
