  Had our front door for nearly 5 yrs, recent issue with latch. Adrian arrived and replaced whole locking system, very helpful and efficient. Called me with time of arrival, great product and excellent after sales. Would highly recommend.

  Absolute abyssmal. We’re contracted by an insurance company to board up the property of an elderly relative after a break in. Didn’t turn up leaving a vulnerable person who had just been burgled in an insecure house during a blizzard. They had left a phone message to contact them to but the contact number didn’t work and first (appeared unable to hear incoming call). Second attempt got through and they said they’d arrive in two hours. 12 hours later still no show and they say it will be another 3 hours before they arrive. Hopeless. Asked about their complaints procedure and they refused to log a complaInt How companies like this get business from insurance companies is beyond me!

  We have had a new door from timber composite doors fitted by their recommend installers called martindales! Although the door is of good quality the same can not be said about the installation of it. We have contacted both companies to complain about the render that was put in around the door by martindales is falling out and has now left a gap between the door frame and the edge of the existing render! The door has been in around a month now. Neither company want to sort out the poor workmanship so I don’t recommend buying from a company that do not honour their so called installation warranty.

  Unfortunately I cannot recommend this company - having spent nearly 2k for a new front door with side windows. Delays to the install, paint chipping from the front door early on was the start. There was an issue opening the door after about a year - they came out and told me that the floor has risen by a couple millimeters causing the issue - they fixed it. The gent (who I have to say was very friendly and helpful) that attended my house told me there would be nothing to pay - but, I get a call weeks later telling me I had to pay 160 pounds for the 20 minute visit as they said it wasn't a door issue. Having provided all the details they asked for (including a video of how the door was working), prior to the call out to fix the issue - they said it was likely an issue with how the door was sitting in the frame based on their expert opinion. Honestly, if that's the case and I had to pay a reasonable cost - I wouldn't be here. But if you have an issue that you as a layman can't identify, you send the information to the company they ask for, and send someone out to identify and fix the issue that they had said prior is likely to be with the door itself - then tell you on the day there won't be any fee, to then turn around and demand 160 for 20 minutes...there are better services out there for your money

  Terrible company. Avoid them. We needed repair work done on some double glazing and the NFU put us in touch with them. The work was very poor and they damaged the frame with a bent nail, so it was worse than when they started. An e-mail was sent to them by the manufacturer of the door as to how silicon should be applied. I was then informed that the work was too difficult for them and they passed it back to the NFU. While this was going on, it took ages to get through on the phone and when you did get through, it was a manager I had to speak with and they never call back. Following on from their reply: I was told by the contractor who completed the works and their customer service team that they were not capable of completing this work to the finish as it was before. Hence given back to the NFU. Only when I posted this review did they try and contact me, asking me to remove the post. I do not want Martindales back at my property of which I have informed them of. I now also have a damaged frame to sort.

  Extremely dissatisfied with the service - would not recommend! I was assigned Martindales via my insurance company following a break in. As a company that prides itself as being the "UK’s leading service provider to the insurance industry" You would think they could install a new door correctly. The door was late, but due to covid this was probably out of their control, so will give them the benefit of the doubt. But cancelling fitting appointments at the last minute because the door has not arrived is their fault. Since the door was originally fitted, they have been back twice to rectify the fact it was never fitted correctly. Had water leaks on a number of occasions and again more recently. I could call them out again under the warranty, but really what is the point? The installers either cannot be bothered to do a good job or are incompetent. My door was tightened up on the first re-visit, despite pointing out the design of the door was causing the leak. Unsurprisingly after it leaked again, during the second visit they installed "a missing part". Said part was designed to stop the floor in the design I pointed out, so had they actually listened this would of been avoidable. After the latest leak I've noticed a lack of sealant around the frame. The safer option is to sort this myself! Ultimately this is a proper bodged job - Poor standards. I would never use this company again.

  Don’t touch this company at all costs, left 2 elderly pensioners in their 70’s with a piece of wood in their front widow after it was smashed by vandals for 5 weeks Martindale made a mistake by sending wrong estimate to our insurance company, we suffered through they mistake and customer service is no service they lied.
