I hate getting anything done with my vehicles, as have no idea what needs to be done and how much it could cost. It can be so daunting and easy to be ripped off by a garage. Have been a few times now. Warning problems with my wife's Citroën. They found the problem and needed to replace wiring. They could have replaced other things to try or told us they had. But they started with the basic cheapest options before ordering more expensive parts. Explained everything in detail with what was wrong and how they repaired it. Also got a puncture with my van, which he squeezed me in straight away with while I waited. I got another nail in the same tire a week later. He repaired it straight away and wouldn't charge me a second time. Also gave me details of a puncture repair kit and explained how to use it myself if needed. Always a pleasure to call in and get a nice warm reception and an offer of a drink too while I wait.
