Can you provide examples of successful cases your firm has handled in the past?

Yes, we have a proven track record of successful cases in insurance law. Some of our notable cases include securing compensation for clients in personal injury claims, resolving disputes in professional indemnity cases, and achieving favorable outcomes in motor insurance claims.

How does your firm bill for legal services and what are your rates?

We offer various billing options, including fixed fees, hourly rates, and contingency fees. Our rates depend on the complexity of the case and the amount of work required, and we always provide transparent and clear billing information to our clients.

How will you communicate with me throughout my case and keep me updated on its progress?

We understand the importance of regular communication and keep our clients informed throughout the entire legal process. We will assign a dedicated solicitor to your case who will provide regular updates via phone, email, or in-person meetings as required.

What is your firm's approach to settling cases versus going to trial?

We always aim to achieve the best possible outcome for our clients, and our approach depends on the specific circumstances of each case. Beware... I would not touch these apparent 'rob dogs' with a 10ft barge pole!! I second the poor review below from Ash K. I had to pay this rip-off and dishonourable outfit for me doing all the work!! They seem to see the vulnerable coming, and milk it!!! Went to Martin Kaye with a very simple but sensitive Employment Law query, and before we were even out of the starting blocks they charged a hefty fee (prior) just for a 'consultation meeting'. I was charged for a full hour meeting with the solicitor (which actually only lasted 40 mins and for which I was not reimbursed the 20 mins, but on the flip side, advised should the meeting run over the hour I would of course have to start paying at the additional solicitors hourly rate). I had already done all the hard work and pre-prep for it - having sent over a detailed timeline of events document with corresponding evidence. To add insult to injury the very simple follow up actions/ document as agreed with the solicitor, (to be charged at her hourly rate, and which at best should take at best 40 mins to do) which were to follow from her, took 4 days to get to me, and did not match what we'd agreed! In addition the document was virtually a simple carbon copy of MY original word document, give or take a few different words. When I called to speak with the solicitor about it she was abrupt and defensive, and subsequently, I advised in writing politely, the following week of my wish to discontinue using them. A total cheek that therefore the 'final invoice' has been sent to me today at charge for the 1x document at over an hours rate, plus VAT!!! (As if a 1 page email copied from mine took over an hour to produce, and conveniently with the oversight that the initial meeting was charged at a full hour and didn't take that long) So nearly £700 out of pocket and only one 40 minute meeting with the solicitor and one email/ word document produced that i'd pretty much done myself, to show for it!!!! Disgraceful!!

This was the second time we used Martin Kaye for conveyancing. Both myself and my wife (who is pregnant and didn't need any stress), were very pleased indeed with the service. A big thank you to Bally and Wendy. You kept us up-to date, were sympathetic to our situation, were professional and kind at the same time and it was always a pleasure to talk to you. Much appreciated. Thank you again!

Used on one occasion when i diversed from my normal conveyancer. Learnt my lesson and promptly returned to my regular conveyancer. I had to chase up the solicitor, never returned my calls and had to get my estate agent to finalise completion date with other party and inform Martin Kaye. I had to do the work for them and pay them as well! One star as the secretary did answer phone and reply to emails.
