We had an enjoyable walk along The Leas to Martello Tower 4. I had not been there before so did not know what to expect. It was really fascinating. We went up some steps into a green pathway of bushes to a glass view point where we were able to look out to where the Tower was located. It is completely covered by bushes and you are unable to see the structure. I found it quite interesting and so peaceful.

This Martello tower is shrouded in undergrowth. It forms part of a Folkestone art installation. There is a narrow short muddy pathway that leads to a rather grand archway, where one can view the tower and an assortment of discarded bottles and cans that are starting to pile up at the base of the structure which is a little dissapointing to see. Free Street parking on the nearby cul-de-sac. The walk along the Leas from this location is interesting if you've never explored the area.
