  We truly had the best experience we could have imagined working with Marta. We had a few photographers on our shortlist that had been recommended by our wedding venue, but as soon as we met with Marta over Zoom, we knew she was the one! She was so warm, friendly, reassuring and genuinely enthusiastic about our day - we felt in the safest of hands. Whilst we were drawn to The Mays' fun, relaxed and creative style, Marta spent time getting to know us as a couple, as well as what aspects of the day were most important to us and what we were hoping for from the photos. She was also amazing at checking-in with us frequently, calming any nerves or anxieties, and offering some sage wisdom and ideas based on her wealth of experience, which was very welcome! Sadly, due to the unexpected death of a close relative, we had to change our plans significantly just a few days before the wedding - reducing the guest numbers to a small group of family and friends, and changing the ceremony and reception locations. Amidst the chaos, unfortunately Marta was not informed about these changes beforehand. However, as soon as she arrived we had a quick chat, and she was SO understanding and compassionate - she gave us both a big hug, promised that we would get through it together, and immediately got to work. Marta was the biggest source of warmth, comfort and humour throughout the day, and never seemed to stop for a moment - at one point, even sprinting across the grounds to keep up with our giant legs! She was always perfectly positioned to capture the best shots, whilst being completely unobtrusive, and all our guests commented on what an incredible job she was doing (always with a big smile on her face!) Whilst we knew Marta was extremely talented, nothing really prepared us for the photo library we received after the wedding - it was breathtakingly beautiful; capturing all the emotion, autumnal color, and meaningful moments from the day perfectly. Marta also went above and beyond in preparing these photos for us; sending over a little sneak-peak collage to quell our excitement, and having the edited library ready far sooner than anticipated. We couldn't have asked for more, and felt so lucky to have worked with such a wonderful human and commensurate professional. Marta - thank you, from the bottom of our hearts. You made a difficult day feel so much easier, and we will treasure your photos forever :)

  I hand on heart think they are superb at what they do. We were fortunate enough to have them capture our engagement and wedding day and they made us feel so at ease and relaxed. They are so friendly and professional, their work is impeccable and they are such warm hearted people. Both my husband and I were unsure of what photos we wanted to be captured on the day and we trusted Marta and Artur to do their magic. Needless to say they produced some of the most beautiful pictures of me and my family. I genuinely believe that you can put all of your trust in these guys to capture what you are after and they will do it above and beyond what you expect. They are creative, brave and brilliant with their work. I wouldn't hesitate to have them again.

  We had an exceptional experience with Marta (The Mays) this summer! She was warm and giving in the run-up to the wedding, meeting us online a number of times to get a clear sense of what we wanted from the photography. From the moment we met her, we sensed she would seamlessly fade into our wedding party and make everyone feel at ease. She did just that! Our memories live on through her fabulous photographs - they too radiate warmth and happiness. She caught all the little magical moments without fuss - and was always there at just the right time.   Marta was our photographer for our wedding in November 22 and was just amazing - everything we could have asked for and more. When doing research for photographers my parents had offered the advice that you had to not only like the photographer's work but also the photographer themselves given the amount of time you will spend with them on the day. We knew straight away that we loved Marta's portfolio and after our first enquiry email we were certain we would love her as a person as well. A virtual meeting later and we were certain. Marta made everyone feel at ease on the day and quickly became part of the family and party. We were looking for informal candid photos, as we are not comfortable in front of a camera, which Marta got spot on. Yet she also managed to get some lovely couple shots which, in her words, "the grandparents can put in a frame". She did this whilst laughing and joking with us so we felt totally at ease. Marta captured everything beautifully, the big moments we knew we wanted and the small intimate moments we didn't realise we needed. Everything from a first look with my dad, to my mum dancing away with my friends on the dance floor. Marta is truly brilliant at capturing the essence of the day and shared an album full of photos that made us laugh out loud and shed a tear. Thank you Marta for giving us an album full of photos that so perfectly summarised our day. X

  I am so pleased that we chose Marta as our wedding photographer! My husband and I are pretty camera shy and we knew that we didn't want formal, posed photographs. Marta put us at ease from our first conversation and I knew then that our photos were going to be amazing.   We came across Marta and Artur's portfolio when we went to visit one of our first wedding venues. We instantly fell in love with their style of photography and their ability to really capture the essence of the day. We looked at other wedding photographers but no one's portfolio even came close. We contacted them to see if they were available for our wedding date and waited with bated breath whilst they came back to us (albeit it was only a day later). We booked to have an engagement shoot done with them and honestly, I couldn't recommend it enough. It gives you an opportunity to get some beautiful photos during your engagement but most importantly it gives you the opportunity to meet one of them (or both of them) before the wedding day. As soon as we met Marta we felt as if we were in very safe hands and the photoshoot went amazingly. For two people who have never had professional photos taken, she made us feel completely at ease and gave us plenty of tips to help get the best shots, not only for our engagement shoot but on our wedding day. It also meant we had time to chat to her and realise how awesome she was. The wedding soon came around and honestly, Marta and Artur fitted right in. We barely noticed they were there apart from when they were on the dancefloor with us, having a great time in order to get the best shots. Our wedding photos are more than we could ever have imagined. They made the whole process so seamless and easy. They were always at the end of an email and we had multiple video chats to answer any questions we had and to make sure they understood exactly what we wanted from our photos. We opted to have the video package and although a bit more expensive, we couldn't recommend it enough. We have the most beautiful video of our day and watch it often. The attention to detail is just amazing and the moments they captured are priceless. Marta and Artur, you guys really are the best of the best and we can't thank you enough for giving us the most amazing memories of our day. Amanda & Steve xx

  We chose Marta and Artur for our wedding photographers as they represented everything that we wished for. We didn’t want anything too staged. We wanted them to capture the fun and hide in the shadows finding the light and the special moments. They absolutely did this and more! Our photos are amazing. Every single one shows how much everyone was having a great time, laughing and smiling. The whole day was fantastic. The beautiful venue and the golden hour did not disappoint. Marta and Artur also went above and beyond to take into account our requests to personalise our wedding video and capture the special moments we want to revisit over and over.
