I went to Marshall Toyota Tunbridge Wells 2wks ago to look at the Aygo X automatic. We agreed to test drive last Saturday. When we arrived there was no vehicle as apparently it had been sold. We received no phone call or message from the sales rep. The rep was too busy dealing with another customer and it was clear he'd forgotten that we were coming. If all had gone well I had planned to order a new vehicle. Instead I left irritated. I found another local dealership on line and contacted Toyota dealership in Uckfield, we arranged for me to test drive the Aygo X today. Happy to say my new vehicle arrives in September, no thanks to Marshall motors. Really disappointed by Marshall motors; however, we will absolutely look at Toyota for hubby's next car.

I have been going to this dealership for almost 10 years mainly because Jake from the parts department is simply fantastic to deal with! Even if I email for parts after 5pm he will email me back ready with the parts the next afternoon. It's just mind-blowing how he manages to get parts so quickly! Most of the time the Genuine Parts are cheaper, the same price, or only slightly more expensive than Eurocarparts so it's worth buying from Toyota directly. The price of Genuine service kit parts are very competitive! The receptionists are also very easy to deal with and amazingly kind in offering free drinks and biscuits to the point they actually remembered what drink I liked! I've also had the opportunity to experience exceptional service from the Service team that quickly resolved the issue of a lost locking wheel nut. Overall, such a splendid team to deal with that goes the extra mile and honestly, it's quite refreshing compared to the other dealers. Thank you!

The measure of a company is how they deal with the inevitable mistakes and mess-ups. Once they discovered the below situation I was contacted and apologised to, and Andy very promptly dealt with my complaint. So, top marks for the response, thank you Andy, shame it had to happen in the first place though. This was the original post: Popped in to TW Toyota to ask a simple question concerning my Auris. Saw the 'greeter' lady who told me (after disappearing behind a translucent screen) someone will be out shortly. 10 minutes later I reiterated that it was a simple question and can someone help please. After your greeter once again explained this to some shadowy characters behind the scenes I was told that sorry, but they are in a meeting and would not be available yet. I worked in all departments of the motor trade many years ago for Ford, Honda, MG Rover, and I can tell you now no one hid behind greeters and screens, and we were always ready to ensure the customer was dealt with quickly and was made to feel important. No wonder dealers like yours are so intimidating and unpopular. I never did get the answer to my question - how much to stop the reverse beeping inside my hybrid Auris? And what's it worth against a new Rav 4? So, Marshalls, sorry I was such a nuisance, must be irritating having punters in the shop. Complained via Messenger directly to Marshalls and was asked for phone number. Two days later still no contact. Hopeless.
