call to purchase a land rover defender asked the question numerous times is the VAT inclusive. The sales lady said yes I then had a think about it. I called her back asking the same question was the VAT included .the lady said yes I paid a £1000 deposit .Then I got a call call back saying the VAT was not inclusive by the manager and that he would give me my £1000 back .Three weeks later still chasing my £1000 VERY DISAPPOINTED

I wanted to update my Ranger Rover vogue today and had an appointment with my wife to test drive the new Defender and the new Ranger Rover vogue. Not only did the receptionist not acknowledge us when we walked in and continued with her phone call. The first sales man was on the phone so we walked to the second salesman and he put his head down and picked up his phone with out even a smile. After waiting and looking at the cars I was informed that the sales man we had an appointment with wasn't even in. We were so disappointed today because my wife wanted to order her new car for her birthday.

We bought a used Range Rover Evoque from this company for £30k. After 5 weeks use the rear brakes failed due to excessive corrosion. The car was taken to, and repaired by Sytner Landrover Northampton who said the corrosion was excessive and must have been there when the car was sold. We spoke to Marshall’s expecting them to sort this problem out and we were told, despite the fact we had only recently bought the car from them and even though we had bought the service pack, that they would not pay for the £600+ repair. After prolonged discussions we were offered £150 towards the cost of repair. They would not even speak to Sytner in fact they said Sytner would say the corrosion was excess they wanted the work to repair our car. For a premium brand this level of customer service is simply not acceptable, simply awful. Needless to say we won’t be using Marshall’s or buying another Ranger Rover again

Sold me a faulty approved used vehicle (3 years old) - faults developed within first month and I’ve been back over 6 times in the past year with some major repairs. Refused to accept the car back, currently awaiting financial ombudsman assessment. When asked to cover any repair costs within 12 months - called an unreasonable person by Head of Sales. I would advise to AVOID AT ALL COSTS!

I bought my Land Rover defender from Marshall Newbury around two weeks ago. After a week I got a call from Sidney Vigo asking would I kindly leave feedback. I replied yes of course I would leave feedback has I was delighted with my vehicle. He then went on to say if I left a five star review on my experience. And also a five star review about the test drive that I did not have but if I could say that I did. Then he would be able to give me a £300 cash back for doing so. But upon doing this he sent it to my dad’s email address who also purchased a vehicle 12 months ago. When I told him that I had not received it he said that they could not resend it. But I did get the email regarding the details for the cash back asking for my account details. I guess that’s how they get their 5 star reviews by offering cash back incentives for them. I still have the email stating this but not sure who to pass it on to yet. Can anyone help thanks lee.
