Mr Marshall came out to examine the clock and took it back to his workshop to be mended. He explained what was required and delivered it back looking splendid to check it was correct. Such a wonderful surprise in this day and age. I telephoned Marshall Clocks regarding my jammed pendulum clock. Billy came round within 24hrs and fixed the problem immediately. When I asked how much l owed him for the repair and all his advice, he replied that he lived around the corner from me and didn't need anything as he was on his way home for lunch. How refreshing to meet a gentleman with old fashioned values. Of course, l will use him again and recommend him to my friends and family. Thanks very much.
