The new waiting rooms and ticket office building do make the station look a lot more appealing than before. Step free access is available from each side but not changing between the platforms which is annoying. The platform for Sudbury services is on a quite sharp curve so do mind the gap here.

Recently moved to West colchester from east, much cheaper to get to London for an annual season ticket. Bus connections from here to Colchester are limited thought and very variable.

The 18.05 departed at 18.09 and therefore didn't connect with trains coming from London which arrived at 18.11 and 18.19. Absolutely disgusting, who made that decision??? Are you going to give me an hour back which I have list putting my son to bed?
