It's nice to see that basildon Council have spent some money. But there's still a long way to go, they need to repair the zip wire that's been out of action for ages and they need to put in paths leading to the play area because when it rains you have to wade through deep mud to get to the paved play area.

Pretty good park, most dog walkers here are friendly and have well mannered dogs. There are a couple of oblivious tools who bring their untrained dogs with no recall which can spoil your day if your dog doesn't take well to space invaders. Facilities for kids are good, football pitches, play area, football cage, skate park and even a couple of small ponds (again careful if your dogs or kids like a swim!) If it weren't for a few bad dog owners and a few kids who like to rip around on motorbikes who frequent it, it would of got a higher rating.
